Skiing, anyone?

Ronna was out for a leisurely snowshoe tour when she came across an object that has been obscured for weeks -- the mail box!

We have had so much snow this winter that even the snow dumps are overflowing.

We have just got another good dump of snow, about 51 centimetres, putting us only a few feet of some sort of record.

Most of us figure that if we are going to get this much snow, we may as well go for a milestone.

Highway drama

"I was waiting for the director to say, Cut!"

I was shooting a fatal accident on Highway 417 east of Ottawa when two tanker trucks that were driving by the scene collided, forcing one truck into a ditch and toppling the tanker -- thankfully empty -- onto its side. Miraculously, the police officers and fire fighters scattered.

It was indeed like a scene from an action movie, without Bruce Willis.
