We know that Old Man Winter has arrived when the frost and snow begin to cover everything, such as bales in a field, spiky leftovers from summer and a lone tree that survived a clear-cutting operation.
It really is quite lovely when the snow covers all that dreary November greyness. And your photographs capture this so beautifully. Makes me long to be out walking in a field somewhere. (I also love the attenuated view of the Laurentians in the background.)
I'm waiting for a Richard gallery exhibit. If you guys come to visit us I'm sure I could arrange it with all the places in Portland looking for art. Go for it Newshawk!
